Vintage Goldleafed Dutch Boy and Girl Figurines
Beautifully detailed set of girl and boy figurines that are signed (I am unable to make out makers mark). They are goldleafed and have a wonderful bit of charm to them. Boy is carrying pails of water and the girl has a kerchief on and holds a bouquet of flowers. Great set to display. They measure 7" tall and are approximately 3.5 to 4" wide. I am unsure of what material they are made of as there aren't any chips or repairs to let me know. They do have a bit of weight to them. Possibly chalkware. I think they are dressed up as dutch children but they could be german children too.
Condition: No nicks, crazing, cracks or repairs of any kind. Perfect figurines ready for display. All items are as found and not touched up unless excessively dirty, then a light mild rinseing is done if needed and air drying.
